With us, the search for an apartment takes place as follows:
Orientation drive
We pick up our clients from various locations for an initial orientation drive.
This trip takes from two to four hours, during which we provide useful information on the city, its various districts, and an initial glimpse of the Swiss way of life. Relevant information is given on the current housing situation and the subsequent steps discussed for finding an apartment over the next few days.
Switzerland has its own traditions, etiquette, rules, and regulations, which is why the customs and daily life in Switzerland will be explained, and tips given on current leisure and cultural activities.
We provide comprehensive brochures with useful information on Zurich and the surrounding area.
After the orientation drive, a decision can be made as to where the search for the new home can begin. Beginning with each individual’s requirements profile, we examine the real estate and apartment market, filter the matching offers, and arrange viewing dates with homeowners and housing administrators.
Searching for an apartment
Up to ten apartments or houses carefully selected according to the relevant criteria will be viewed over a span of two to four days (depending on the market situation). During the respective apartment viewings, important information will be provided on traffic connections, shopping amenities, leisure activities etc. As soon as a decision has been made in favor of an apartment or house, we negotiate with the housing administrators, review the contracts, and take measures to ensure that the handover of the apartment or house takes place smoothly. Thanks to our good relationship with housing administrators and property owners, the search for a suitable new home is significantly facilitated.
Apartment handover
We will be present when the apartment is handed over, and will review the handover log to ensure that it is correct. This ensures that the tenant does not experience any unpleasant surprises when moving in or out. If the lease for the apartment or the house has to be terminated prematurely, we would be glad to assist with looking for a follow-up tenant. When handing over the apartment, topics such as laundry room regulations, disposal guidelines, parking systems and similar aspects will be explained in detail, and any questions answered.

Registering with the local council / collection of biometric data / integration interview
Every person who has recently moved to the municipality in Switzerland is legally required to register with the local council within 14 days. Depending on their nationality, other appointments may also be necessary, as well as an appointment with the authorities for the collection of biometric data or the integration interview. For this purpose, we pick up the clients from any location in Switzerland and accompany them on all official administrative businesses.
Registering at a bank
In order to ensure that a bank account can be opened quickly and smoothly, we accompany the client to the bank.
